In Nigeria, 3 million people are deaf or hard of hearing. Fewer than 500 certified sign language interpreters exist across the entire country. That's not a gap. That's a choice, made silently, for decades. At BIP 2026, we change the conversation. Because leadership that doesn't include everyone isn't leadership at all. 📍 Friday, May 22, 2026 Venue: Shehu Musa Yar'Adua Centre, Abuja Time: 9:00 AM WAT 🔗Register: nigeria.thesppg.org/bip2026 #BIP2026 #LeadingWithOurHumanity #InclusiveLeadership #DisabilityRights #NigeriaLeads

Today, we officially filmed the very first episode of the Flow With Pride Podcast ...and what a powerful beginning it was. In partnership with the Shehu Musa-Yar' Adua Foundation we welcomed Christopher Favour Oluchi, an endometriosis warrior whose story moved every single person in the studio. Today was emotional, honest and necessary. Through tears, strength, vulnerability, and courage, we explored the realities of living with endometriosis, the silent battles many women face, and the importance of creating spaces where these conversations can happen freely and without shame. This is exactly why the Flow With Pride Podcast exists. There are countless girls and women silently struggling with menstrual health challenges, stigma, pain, PCOS, endometriosis, and other reproductive health conditions and it is time their voices are heard. This first episode will be released soon, and we cannot wait for you all to experience it. And this is only the beginning. We are officially inviting; women and girls with lived experiences, health professionals, advocates and activists, NGO founders, Researchers and educators. If you have a story, knowledge, or experience that can help educate, inspire, or empower others, we would love to feature you on the Flow With Pride Podcast. Together, we can break the silence and amplify conversations around menstrual health in Nigeria and beyond. More episodes. More stories. More impact. Coming soon. #FlowWithPridePodcast #MenstrualHealth #Endometriosis #PCOS #PeriodPoverty

Today, our Co-Founder & Chairman, Michael Chineme Ike, sat down with the Director General of the Shehu Musa Yar'adua Foundation, Mr Amara Nwankpa, for a meaningful conversation about the road ahead. As we count down to our World Menstrual Health Day 2026 Commemoration Event on 26th May and prepare for the launch of the Flow With Pride Podcast in partnership with the Foundation, moments like this remind us why the partnerships we build matter just as much as the programmes we run. We are grateful for the Foundation's leadership, their belief in what we are doing, and their genuine investment in building something that will outlast any single event. The conversation today was encouraging, the alignment is clear, and the work continues. 💜 #FlowWithPride #YarAduaFoundation #Partnership #WorldMenstrualHealthDay2026 #FlowWithPridePodcast

Shuga Global partnered with the Shehu Musa Yar'Adua Foundation for International Women’s Day with a special screening of Aféfé followed by a panel discussion in Abuja. The event brought together a diverse audience for an afternoon of reflection, dialogue, and action. Aféfé sparked meaningful conversations on gender norms, unpaid care work, and women’s economic empowerment, while the panel discussion, featuring distinguished speakers including Andrea Kwen, Mrs. Chinyere Ukaoha, Dr. Ruth Agbo, and Khadijat Akewushola, explored gender, health, and social change in Nigeria through powerful and diverse perspectives. We’re also proud to see the conversation continue beyond the room, with press coverage in ThisDay, Vanguard, and on Arise News. Together, we continue creating spaces that inspire change and build a more equal future. ✨ #GiveToGain #WomenEmpowerment #Abuja #Screening

Quiet places for reading and research exist in Abuja. You just haven’t found yours yet.♡ I made this list because where I can work/ read in Abuja is in my DMs weekly. These libraries have light, space, and actual silence. Some are free. Some you’ll pay a small. All of them will save your sanity. Save this for exam season, proposal writing, or when you need to disappear for 3 hours.🤗 • • • #fyp #librariesinabuja #nigerianlibrarians #goviral #BookTok

Legacy, leadership, and courage; felt in every moment. We spent a meaningful afternoon with Dr. Josephine Effah-Chukwuma @josephine_effah_chukwuma , in partnership with Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Foundation @smyfoundation reflecting on the life and lasting impact of the late Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma. Through a reading of Against All Odds and an open, honest conversation, we explored what it really means to stand for something, lead with integrity, and keep pushing for change. It was a time to remember, to learn, and to leave inspired. #legacycontinues #leadership #bookreading #bookreadingcommunity #againstallodds
