Creating For Myself pt. 2/♾️. (just a snippet)
It’s insane to think that around this time last year I contemplated continuing making videos. Once I started hating what I made but knowing the videos would get “likes”, “follows”, and “shares” I knew it was time to take a step back.
Luckily for me it turned into a pivot and not dropping the craft all together. This project rekindled that drive to create for creation sake and allowed me to have some insanely high moments on set.
Big shout out to all the minds, hands and people who pulled off this shoot with 12 hours of prep and in 2 hours of filming. Officially back to creating what I’ve always intended to make. GO SHOW LOVE ON THE YOUTUBE!! Pretty sure you can guess where the link is.

I learned more about what I want in the last 12 months than I did in the last 5 years. I understand the next step in the creative process and I am dummy excited about the projects on the way. A complete change in content is on the way.

Failure 1/♾️. 05/2019
The trip made me the creator I am today. But I hated editing every moment of this shoot. My sensor was dirt, my shots were rugged and I wanted more from myself. I had limited resources (all lights were from an IPhone lol) to put together an LA look book for @aly_leff but somehow I made something dope. It just took 4 years and allowing myself to recognize growth to finally post. This post may or may not come down. If you stayed to the end understand, I love everyone that’s been a part of my 7 year Rogue Ego movement!

I actually hated how these turned out. When I think about it I was using a $20 point and shoot and this is what I got. Trying to let go of comparative failure and just create. So here’s some pics where I feel I “failed” for the fam on the gram.

Natural light has always been the move. Yeah we have all the equipment to go hard but keeping it simple with photography has always been the vibe. We’re keeping it simple this year.

Before this shoot in December of 2022 I hadn’t taken a photo in my style for about a year. Muscle memory really kicked in but shout out to my crew for pushing the creative.
Here comes that yearly post you can get out of me. This year taught me a lot though man. I could go on but I’ll leave it at that! So much love to who I met and new friends I’ve made. 2022 was a time for learning about myself but 2023 is gonna bring so much more than just that. On to the next one.
