Here he is, the face behind the incredible pieces. His passion for furniture is profound. His knowledge is endless. You may not see him in the shop, but that is because he is always on the hunt. What you see are the treasures that he unearths. It is his life’s work. So very many homes are more beautiful (including mine), because of him. Stay tuned here - there is always something for everyone @opmaniseddy 📸 @erycagreen

Hello everyone. Most of you know me, but for those that don’t, my name is Eryca. I have been the one you talk to on here when you have questions. I have been with Smith Street Bazaar in varying capacities for 12 years now. I love it. I love the furniture, I love our customers, I love Eddy’s immense knowledge, Angus’s laconic help and technical know how and the loyal long term traders that bring the incredible diversity to the shop. I cannot count how many people I have spoken to in the shop who need a bit of help and confidence making decisions for their home. It can seem huge and overwhelming when you are in the thick of it. I find I am able to reassure and give suggestions that help with clarity and confidence. It is because of these many satisfying conversations, that I will be offering a unique and tailored service to help navigate these moments. Feel free to follow me at @erycagreen to see how this unfolds. You will find a mish mash of interiors, fashion, unsolicited opinions and soon more info on how I can help you. In the meantime I am here in the shop on this rainy Easter Monday - perfect shopping day! Photo of me by the inimitable @martynthompsonstudio standing next to one of his incredible ceramic totems ✨

And it’s a wrap! I have been given so much love, flowers, cards and messages from many people today - you know who you are and it has touched me deeply. I have shed quite a few tears. Please do follow me at @erycagreen I will be offering something new - actually, not new, old. I’ll be offering Me. My vision, my opinions, my cunning plans, my sense of space, my deep non judgmental understanding that we all need help sometimes. I can work with what you have, I can help you finesse or fine tune, I can help you buy new pieces if that is required. Feel free to message me anytime on my personal page. Someone said yesterday that I am good at living. I think it might be the best thing anyone has ever said to me, and it is now my aim every day. I will no longer be posting here, nor answering questions here. It has been a wonderful life changing 12 years. And now, ROMA for a month to reclaim my mojo. My 200 days of Duolingo haven’t helped much, but I’m good at the gestures 🤌🏻Lets see how I improve after a month. Thank you Thank You THANK YOU! All of you 🥰♥️
