Many thanks to Dean and the rest of the crew at Hex Enduction Records for having us, Norman for playing and our ardent tour guide Joe for showing us all around the great Emerald City over the past two days.
We’re making our way back to Nebraska to settle in to a summer of homegrown tomatoes and backyard cookouts before heading out again in the fall.

It was so reenergizing to connect with old friends and family and share a beautiful evening of music with Laith and Sequoia. Gonna miss ya but we’ll be back soon.

You are mighty pretty. We spent a couple of days tucked away in flowers, walking the streets to the staccato song of the Bewick’s Wren. Ate some unforgettable Ropa Vieja at Havana Cafe and had a couple pops at Max’s Tavern. Had a great night out with pals Sequoia and Darci after playing a wonderful room, Art House.
This afternoon we stopped off at Silver Falls for a very appreciated detour into the woods.
It all continues tonight with a certified barn burner of a lineup at Mississippi Records with Laith and Sequoia. Excited to see you, friends!

It was such a pleasure to meet Michael James Tapscott and his all star band and hear the new music they’ve been working on. Eagerly awaiting the new record.
The sky was brooding and the streets were soaked but everything was nice and cozy, tucked away in The Lost Church.
I decided to share some backstage footage as a reminder that sometimes you need to check in with yourself and find your center before going on stage.

We shared a beautiful night of music with Cole Berliner and Shannon Lay at the Philosophical Research Society, explored the curiosities of The Museum of Jurassic Technology and rubbed elbows with locals in Redondo Beach. Thanks for showing us around Tim and Gwyenedd!

Woke up yesterday to a hummingbird oscillating outside our window. Ate Austin’s nourishing sourdough fresh out of the oven and an amazing machaca breakfast at Cora’s Cafe in Tucson.
Played back to back shows with new friends Francis and Nico and Krassner treated us to a legendary dinner at CIBO before an intimate night of music at Sopra.
