Radushko, a London-based musician, DJ & producer returns with another vibrant and even more diverse selection, and in his words, the most introspective and boundary-pushing to date. The selection is specially curated for the final night of POPUP 7 on October 4th ‘25 in collaboration with Not Far Behind, in a DJ mix style curated soundtrack that will accompany the night’s performance of his project Hypnotic Playground @hypnotic.playground.music , the project that he’s been curating with his dear friend Fratts @tony_fratipietro . Hypnotic Playground is not about genres or styles, trends or any compartmentalized boxes, Hypnotic Playground is a way of being, a place where freedom of expression flows in waves of spontaneous creation between everyone involved…constantly changing and evolving as life itself. We continue POPUP 7 with consciousness as we have Maria Peeva taking over the space for two evenings (Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 Sept) sharing her yoga practice. You’re welcome to join and take time to breathe, stretch and reshape your thoughts. Having dedicated herself seriously to yoga over the past few years, Maria has been particularly inspired by the discipline of Ashtanga, the creativity of dynamic Vinyasa Flow, and the holistic approach of Jivamukti Yoga. Her one-hour classes will bring together pranayama, with an energising flow, inviting practitioners to move with intention and awareness. With a focus on cultivating both strength and ease, Maria hopes to create space for each participant to explore their own practice, finding balance between effort and release. The two evening classes will be very limited to 5 participants per class, so please book asap as spaces will fill quickly. Maria will lead the classes on movement as well as help guide on posture. Please bring comfortable clothing and your own yoga/exercise mats. FREE and classes start at 7:45pm. We clean up after corporations. Delivering flowers of all kinds. A rescued food delivery drivers jacket, found on the street to be transformed and given new life. Combined with my stash of damaged fabric, I took apart the @justeatuk jacket making sure each panel and pattern is used. One of the main features are the hood pieces, which became the waist pockets, making sure the cords and toggles are utilised. I’m happy to announce the upcoming POPUP 5 from 15-24 November, will feature three takeover nights by @houseofthechldren Screening their beautiful film “mother”. This is a film not to be missed as it is the first of a series of beautiful stories that showcase human emotion in a unique way. “mother” explores themes of loss, grief, family, identity and mental health through the lens of a young British Nigerian woman. There will be three screening nights to choose from; Sunday 17th, Wednesday 20th (screening and q&a) and Saturday 23rd (screening with poetry) all from 7:30pm. There will be refreshments on each day with a special selection on the final screening. Things are changing. We need new ways of living and experiencing the gift of life. Old systems and ideas are crumbling and will need to give way to fresh and simple ones. We need more community and NOT FAR BEHIND is here for just that. STAINED EMPIRES. A 15 meter roll of baroque woven cotton fabric, found soiled and stained, left for landfill. Once cleaned and brought back to life still with clear signs of stains, a new mini collection is realised. This deliberate collection is all about showing where we came from and how we can’t forget the past.
