Auditions for the 2026-2027 Smartt Steps Company are open!
If your dancer is ready to push themselves a little harder this year, this is where it starts. Company life means longer rehearsals, harder work, and a team that has your dancer's back through all of it.
Auditions run May 26 through 29, broken out by age group.
Your dancer doesn't need any prior experience at Smartt Steps to try out. We welcome new dancers who are ready to work and ready to be part of something bigger than themselves.

What if your kid has never taken a dance class in their life?
Bring them anyway.
Smartt Steps welcomes dancers at every level, beginners included. You don't need experience to walk through our door, and your dancer doesn't need to know "first position" from "fifth." Our team will meet your dancer where they are and help you figure out the right class from there.
