I went as a judge. I left as a student.
30 speakers. 30 stories. One stage that refused to be ordinary.
Last Saturday at the 8th KASANUFO Public Speaking Championship Semi-Final, I witnessed something special. These weren’t just speeches — they were convictions dressed in courage.
I was particularly moved by Benedict Owusu and Vincent Doh. But every single contestant left a mark.
Here are the quotes I carried home 👇🏾
💬 Waiting for the right time is how purpose dies quietly.
💬 Healing delayed is not healing denied.
💬 Closed mouths don’t get fed.
💬 Your words are not just spoken — they are carried.
💬 People don’t respond to their names anymore because they are not sure what they have become.
💬 Purpose is not found in comfort. Even when opportunity delays, preparation must not stop.
💬 Fatherhood isn’t a title you claim. It is a responsibility you live.
💬 Outside we glow. Inside, we are unprepared and unsure. Who are you when the compliments stop?
💬 Mindset is like a maths set — ruler for rules. Compass for direction. Protractor for your angle of approach. Pencil to take action.
💬 Rape is not just an action. It’s a theft. It steals innocence. It steals dignity.
💬 We’ve taught our kids at 6 to make rhymes out of people’s names. We have become architects of discrimination.
💬 Be confused and show up anyway. Stay consistent — even when it is boring.
The Finals are coming. And if the Semi-Final was THIS good — just imagine.
To every contestant — I see your growth. The stage was yours.

Eight cohorts. Hundreds of voices. One unwavering belief — that every person has a powerful story worth telling, and the world deserves to hear it told well.
This Saturday, 2nd May, I will be seated at the judges’ panel at the 8th KASANUFO Public Speaking Championship Semi-Final — but my heart will be on that stage with every single contestant.
Because I trained them.
As Creative Director of STN Media Consult — Playwright, Communication Consultant and Voice Over Artist — I have had the privilege of working with the KASANUFO initiative for the 6th or 7th time, coaching these incredible young speakers in voice modulation and vocal clarity. Two of the most underrated yet most powerful tools in public communication.
Your voice is not just sound. It is your authority. It is your emotion. It is your ability to make a room feel something — and these contestants have worked hard to master it.
My expectations going into Saturday?
✦ I expect confidence — not perfection, but ownership of the stage.
✦ I expect clarity — every word deliberate, every pause intentional.
✦ I expect emotion — speeches that don’t just inform, but move.
✦ I expect courage — because standing before a room and speaking your truth is one of the bravest things a person can do.
To every contestant stepping onto that stage at the UniMAC-IJ Auditorium, South Legon Campus this Saturday at 9:00am — I see your preparation. I see your growth. Now go show the world.
And to everyone reading this — if you believe in developing the next generation of communicators and leaders, I’d love to see you there.
Let’s go. 🎤

It is quite refreshing to find that many more people are creating safe spaces for those battling and struggling with pain and past hurt.
When Victoria Beeko Danso reached out to me to be a speaker for this conference, I didn’t even hesitate for a minute.
I said, “Sis, I’m available”.
For the past two years, I’ve been going through some personal issues as well. There is always a lot of power in sharing and understanding each other. I took a counseling course in 2025 just to understand emotions and human growth.
Tomorrow, Saturday, 25th April, 2026, I’ll be joining these wonderful speakers at All Nations Fire Chapel, Lapaz New Market as we bring you The Healing Place Conference. Time is 12noon
Make a date with us.
Not everyone needs us but someone truly does.

Pain has a purpose. For whatever we are experiencing, we must learn a lesson out of it. Step back, relook at the situation and take a cue from your pain.

I had a powerful Zoom session with ECLECTIC LOVE on men’s mental health and raising responsible men from boyhood.
We unpacked societal expectations and cultural narratives that shape boys into men, and why self-awareness is the foundation for healthier masculinity.
Grateful to Patrice Robertson for capturing these key takeaways from my session under the theme “Building Boys, Shaping Futures: Raising Responsible Boys for Stronger Communities.”
Three thoughts I shared:
Know yourself, lead yourself: “When you become very much self-aware of who you are and what your strengths and weaknesses are, peer pressure hardly gets to you.”
Set healthy boundaries: “A real strength of a young man is understanding fully that the moment you carry the burden of every single person in your life, you would live an unsatisfied life.”
Master your triggers: “Becoming self-aware of your triggers is knowing what and who can fuel you to get anything done.”
Conversations like these matter. When we raise boys who understand themselves, we build men who lead with empathy, responsibility, and resilience.
Big thanks to the Eclectic Love community for creating space for this dialogue. Kobby Kyei is equally doing same and we are ready to support.
How are you helping the young men in your life build self-awareness? Let’s talk

Refreshing!!!
After a 4-hour youth mentorship program at Almighty Chapel International on Easter Monday, I received a rousing applause and standing ovation.
The wife of the General Overseer, Mrs Regina Abukari said, “I have fallen in love with you, the words, wisdom and boldness you exhibited reminds me of my son”.
As a public speaker and youth mentor, my number one aim at every event is impact. I spoke on the theme “Step Into Your Purpose” as other speakers focused on building self confidence and reproductive health. I shared the stage with Abigail Asor Asante and Erica Owusu Dompreh.
I’ve been asked to return again, but this time around I’ll be speaking to the mother church.
Impact is the new success.

Many a time, we hear about the mental issues of men being swept under the carpet. One day, while speaking to a friend about what men go through, she asked me, what are you doing about it?
That struck me because if we are to complain and do nothing then we are contributing to the current situation by default. Last week, I received an email from Patrice Robertson on sharing some insights on how to shape the lives of young boys considering my years in mentorship and working alongside teenagers. I knew it was time to take up this challenge and address it as one who lived, experienced and suffered under the narratives of society.
Tonight, on behalf of myself, I’ll be speaking on “From Boyhood to Responsible Manhood” organized by Eclectic Love. Join me at 4pm as we delve into matters that prick the conscience of many in our communities.
If the men have no voice, then we need to start teaching them that they do.
Know Yourself, Lead Yourself
Many young men are taught to be strong…

A few of my friends have complained bitterly about the way I manage my brand. Many of them argue that before they chance on a speaking event I’m on, then the event is done.
Personally, after reviewing my pages across social media platforms, it became evident that I don’t put myself out there that much with the number of things I do. In fact, there are others who wonder what I even do for a living.
In the spirit of sharing and taking a new position for my brand, let’s talk about our purpose on earth.
On Easter Monday, I’ll be hosted at Almighty Chapel International Church, Anagkazo branch, Kade, Eastern Region, to speak on their youth mentorship program titled “Step Into Your Purpose”.
Impact is the new success.
