We’re so glad @hotdocs_ has picked our #documentary as part of their Docs For Schools program this year! Schools can pick out the films they’d like to see as part of their mini-festival, and enjoy a viewing right in their classroom from April 19 - May 6. Schools play such an important role in our #documentary. As we know, especially right now, the classroom is a place where LGBTQ2S+ youth and kids can learn they’re valued and seen.
That’s why we’re so proud #SmallTownPride is part of the @hotdocs_ Docs For Schools program this year! Students from grade 5 to 12 can get a chance to see our film right in their classrooms from April 19 - May 6. High five! 👋 We’re so proud to announce we’re now part of the @hotdocs_ Docs For Schools ‘Festival In-School’ program!
The program lets schools show documentaries to students in grades 5 through 12 for free! Small Town Pride will be available along with 7 other great docs (with supplementary educational material) so schools can host their own film festivals. Bookings are open now! Hear that school bell? It’s showtime! 🔔
It’s time to stand in the spotlight! We’re so proud of where Small Town Pride has gone so far, and now we get to bring home the gold. Our doc has won a Spotlight Documentary Film Award!
