Greetings all, this is sadly a long time coming and something I held off announcing for too long. Call it a mental block around a regretful decision. In January of this year, my life changed radically, and I had to rebuild from nothing. A series of changes and misfortunes followed that demanded attention and resources, which pulled even more focus away from the label and plummeted my mental health into the abyss. Unfortunately, something had to give, and that something was Small Offerings. I want to thank Primaevus, Third Eye of the Crone, Paulus, Headstone Brigade, and Exire (who bore the brunt of this past year of unfortunate events) for their belief and trust. Edit: of course, all praise is due to the artists and designers that took these releases to the incredible level of quality that we achieved. My sincere apologies for dropping off the face of the Earth. Thank you as well to all who shared the vision and supported the work. All outstanding orders have been fulfilled as of today, and any Tithing tape orders will be refunded. Any questions can be DM'd directly, not in the comments, please. Overcoming adversity and tragedy leads to greater growth. This is not an unhappy ending, but a sad conclusion all the same. My best wishes to you all.

"An Eldritch Odyssey" turns one year old! Our heartfelt thanks goes to one and all who helped out in any way in the making of this album. It took us 3 years to have the album released: so many ups and downs, heartbreaks, and the whole deal... you name it! It's unbelievable that a year has already passed. The saying holds true: it takes a village — Special thanks to our brother Shawn Haché of @smallofferings who resurrected this album from the depths of the mire and thrust its face up so it could stare at the Sun. And live, and die, and burn... @_exire_ , where do I even begin! This album won't be what it is without the enigma that is Alex and his array of talents. He not only provided the Wind (Native-American Double-flute, Irish Whistle) under our wings, but also sustained it with the Earth and Her rhythms (Percussions, Field recordings). Pure magick! Huge thanks also go to the one and only Edward Longo, aka @larvalmanifold for providing Pipe Organ to the mix! Ed's a beast of the game (start w @skintension and make your way down) and it was an absolute honour to have him on board. Thanks to the amazing @vasantaghara for providing such a stunning artwork! None better! Thanks to @forestbreather for recording, mixing, and mastering the album with me. Only Forest Chants Studios is real. Thanks to @elurka for providing such beautiful lyrics to "Tainted Within". And thanks to you for the amazing response and support!

"At the Mystery's End" has manifested into liminal reality and is now available to absorb through all streaming platforms. I gave this one everything I had to give, and then some more. This is the neo/dark/wyrd/apocalyptic folk album I've always dreamed of creating, and here it is at last ✨️ My only hope is that it prompts seekers to discover the twisting magical path for themselves, and it resonates with fellow travelers already headlong on their own. Please enjoy, spread the word, praise, criticize, love, hate, and let me know what you think. Listen on your platform of choice and purchase all formats on Bandcamp (link in bio). "Kneel at the Throne" is the second single from Tithing's debut album "At the Mystery's End." It tells a cryptic (autobiographical) tale of spiritual rebellion, gnosis through excess, and embracing life with reckless abandon. To transform, we must intentionally hurl ourselves head first into the abyss to confront our darkness in order to reemerge anew. This song represents the impulse to explore every shade of the self, set your shadow side free, become the Son of Night, and discover who you really are! 🖤 As a joint release between House of Inkantation, Aetheric Recordings, and Small Offerings, "At the Mystery's End" is available to preorder on LP, CD, and cassette at the Tithing Bandcamp page. "For we are the woeful ones, free despite these chains. Given in to sin, as the blood flows through my veins" Featuring Mike Adams / Hrimigost on strings @hrimigost_ 📷 @emberlit_ethos

Apologies to anyone waiting on an order from Small Offerings. A significant personal upheaval coincided closely with the Exire tape's official release date, and it has severely impacted my ability to ship promptly. Small Offerings has had to go on unexpected hiatus over the month of February. However, come March 1, the fires will be rebuilt and the flame will burn bright once again. Thank you for your patience and understanding! 2025 holds many great things from us.

In anticipation of @tithing.folk upcoming release, I had to share his most recent set at @lanalous . I was also very honored to be part of this project by taking a magickal approach to a photo shoot - my favorite to date! His masterful collaboration with @smallofferings @houseofinkantation @aethericrecordings @mysticbarbarism is something very unique and worthy of all ears to look forward to. @covenantfestival

The debut full-length album from Canada's neofolk magician Tithing, will be released as a trinity of forces between House of Inkantation, Aetheric Recordings, and Small Offerings on CD, LP, and cassette by the end of April / early May. Re-emerging from one’s own spiritual abyss with a jewel of truth for the world is the final stage of a long initiatory journey. It is with “At the Mystery’s End”, that TITHING (neé Tithe) steps forth into a new beginning, not solely as a new entity, but at the end of a grandiose evolution towards something greater. Eleven songs traverse the arcana of the soul and explore the deeply poignant process of reawakening after a long and stagnant nigredo. Weaving melodies and powerful orchestration ebb and flow between S.P Haché’s complex finger-picking, while his character baritone is joined by a myriad of voices to spin occult tales with arcane allegory and surreptitious symbolism. Each autobiographical song was conceived with a specific symbol set in mind, which informed the words, tonality, and even the instrumentation chosen to sympathetically enhance the magic at work. What emerged is a haunting dark folk balancing sumptuous bombast and subtle beauty, extracting inspiration from World Serpent's glory days and the lush largesse of 2000s post-industrial luminaries. Walking the path of the Fool’s journey, Tithing has traversed the Abyss to transmute the bloody ashes of the past into a fresh vision of Spiritual gold. While this fresh sacrifice was conjured, crafted, captured, and cultivated by S.P Haché in cloistered meditation, he is joined by a powerful cadre of collaborators to further breathe life into this work: Soren Mourne (Tribunal), Amanda Aalto, Mike Adamns (Hrimigost), Egan Budd (Headstone Brigade), Ian Campbell (Crooked Mouth), Sebastian Montesi, Nicholas Yanchuk, Alex Badger, Paulus Kressman, D. (Vintergrav), and Anne K. O’Neill (Serpentent). Mastering duties were handled by Nathanial Ritter (Circulation of Light, ex-Kinit Her). The album carries visionary artwork evoked by Mystic Barbarism. #tithing #houseofinkantation #aethericrecordings #smallofferings #darkfolk #neofolk #folkmusic #goth #occult #darkart #folklore

Spiritus Loci or the spirit of place may come to the living in a variety of ineffable forms. One feels it while paused in the midst of a natural landscape: a communion with a force or intelligence beyond comprehension, but apparent to the senses. It is with SMOFF 006 Exire's "Vinland Tales" that the myriad spirits of land are brought to life through this timeless urfolk. We are invited to embark across water, air, land, and spirit itself to experience the unknown depths of where Exire calls home. Alexander Pfister has evoked his greatest work to date across these 14 winding, evocative songs dedicated to his enigmatic relationship to specific aspects of the New World. With nearly an orchestra-worth of instruments ranging from familiar guitars, violins, and flutes to pre-modern tones of bouzouki, tagelharpa, lyre, oud, and more, the listener is positioned at the intersection of magical time and place - though hovering above it all in absolute unreality. It becomes easy to get lost in Exire's ability to weave a sonic whirlwind without word, allowing the inner plane of imagination to take over. Just as the art of Thomas Cole that adorns much of Exire's work is capable of engrossing that part of the soul sensitive to the sublime, "Vinland Tales" is the musical equivalent of such sensory sensations. Furthermore, this joint working is additionally amplified by a troupe of fellow troubadores lending their musical voices to the atavistic conjuration, including Harul Vinay (Holy Mountain), Kevin Kryszak (Quetzalcoatl), Vicki Terpstra (Woods of Exile) and Mordian (Hawk's Teaching.) Allow Pfister's mystical map to guide you to a realm of the familiar unknown, where the flora, fauna, and spirits that dwell there take on a new form entirely. The Tales are ready to be told, are you ready to hear them? "Vinland Tales" is now available on cassette through the Small Offerings Bandcamp page and streaming on all digital platforms. A limited run of exclusive merch will follow shortly ... #exire #vinlandtales #neofolk #darkfolk #folkmusic #medievalfolk #earlymusic #baroque #darkart #folk #myth #mythopoetic #vinland #nature #magick #taperelease #smallofferings
