Have you guys gotten into projector sewing!?!? Imagine never printing or cutting a pattern ever again! Its cut down so much time on projects for me, not to mention made designing and editing my patterns so much faster. The projector I have is called a short throw projector, which means it can display a large imagine without having to be a far distance away. There are so many tools for calibration these days, that I found setting my projector up so easy! Let me know if you guys have one, or are thinking about getting one, and or have any questions!!!
THIS DRESS!!!! My favorite make to date!!! (IDK I’ve made a lot of stunners, but this one is for me!)
I found this dress at my local @buffaloexchange for $15 dollars, and it didn’t fit. I was so sad as I almost passed it up, but then thought, “I can sew! I should see what I can do!”
Soooo glad I decided to take it home. At first I thought I would do rivets up the back, but after looking at the seams and the back zipper, I knew doing the rivets in the side would be so cute, and easier to put on in the end!! Do we love this dress? LET ME KNOW :)
Made the sickest coat for a customer today!!!! Love these blankets so much!! I haven’t been taking too many custom orders these days, but have been really enjoying making things for the people who want to support me and my craft. On another note, the #dollydress pattern is being released this Friday, December 8th! I’ll see ya there!!!!
Raise your hand if you’d like a YouTube tutorial for this dress? It was a super easy make with no pattern and basically just rectangles! My favorite way to sew! Let me know and I’ll get on it for ya :)
Thank you so much for your fabric orders! You guys always blow me away with your support and I love you always! Excited to make some new clothes with these stripes! They’re gunna pair perfect with some leopard pants for sure!
If you know one thing about me, it’s that I live for a stripe!!!!!! Made this little dress using fabric from my newest fabric collection! AVAILABLE NOW!!! This drape is sooo gorgeous, and the blend is incredible. Truly the softest fabric and I am in love! All three color ways are now available, tell me what I should make with the other fabrics! If I pick your suggestion, I’ll send you a few yards for free!
Hi guys! I just want to encourage anyone out there who wants to learn to sew, who wants to open their own business, who wants to become a pattern designer, or whatever it may be, to do it!
There is truly nothing that separates you from the people you look up to in any industry, other than they’ve put in the time. You can be there too! You have every right to try, and to start, and to chase your dreams whatever they may be!
I’m going to start sharing everything I’ve learned over the past 12 years as a small business owner, and hopefully I’ll inspire some of you to take the leap and change your life!
I’ve been seeing a lot of Frankie Jackets lately and I just wanted to say thank you! This is my only intermediate sewing pattern, and she’s fun to make! The construction of the jacket is fun and satisfying and clean when it all comes together, and I’m glad you guys love it as much as I do :)
