so happy to put this song into the world more widely and reconnect with the person I was when writing it. this recording, beautifully mastered by @frankiesunswept , feels special as it was the first recording of this song that I made on my phone to send to its original recipient, who it was both about and for.
that’s not even to mention the incredible creativity and gorgeous interpretation that @multi_plane brought to the song when making this music video for it!!
originally a love song for a person, it has by circumstance now expanded to a love song for a person, a place, and a time.
