This Italian cheese’s orange rind gives it away - it isn’t some stylish mold, the color comes from annatto - a very natural dye used in cheesemaking, cooking, and other food processing.
Rosso di langa is a sort of hybrid cheese - its a soft ripened cheese made from cow and sheep’s milk similar to brie. But [now this is cheese nerd shit] it doesn’t have a pure bloomy rind like brie. It has a washed rind. Still, rosso di langa ripens to create a soft creamy buttery interior - making it a hybrid cheese situation.
