Outgoing senior and president of the SLUH Beekeeping Club Titus Ziegler ’26 is helping something new take root in the Backer Community Garden.
In this video, we follow Titus and the other club members as they introduce two new honey bee hives into the garden and observe firsthand how stewardship, patience and care for creation can shape a thriving community.

This year, our seniors demonstrated strong growth and achievement across all six world language programs through multiple measures of proficiency, including the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Seal of Biliteracy and STAMP proficiency assessments.
Overall, 67 seniors from the Class of #SLUH2026 earned the Seal of Biliteracy, reflecting sustained language study and demonstrated proficiency in their chosen language.
We are proud of all of our seniors for their dedication to multilingual learning, cultural understanding, and global citizenship.

As the academic year comes to a close, the SLUH community gathered for its final all-school assembly — a meaningful celebration of faith, gratitude and brotherhood.
The morning began with the Mass of Praise and Gratitude, giving thanks for the many blessings of the year. It continued with a heartfelt faculty & staff farewell, honoring those who have dedicated themselves to forming generations of Jr. Bills.
We also celebrated the Class of #SLUH2026, sending them forth to "set the world on fire" with pride and confidence in the men they have become.
