Yo!!! Almost forgot that I had this chilling for the last few weeks 🫣 Life got a little wild over here 🤪
I did that thing again where I go through my history of what I played that night and recorded it to try to recreate the set. I really need to just remember to record it at the show but I get swept up in the vibes you know 🤷♂️
Anyways, this was a super dope night where the V2 Allstars handled the opening duties for the heavywheight BASSTRIPPER in his SLC debut at Soundwell. @loki801 and @shiftymitch really set the mood on fire to get things rolling and the 360 set up there was 🔥🔥
Opening sets are always fun trying to set the right vibes so that when the headliner comes on the floor is primed and ready to go. I don’t take that responsibility lightly 😤
Huge s/o to @slc.dnb / @v2presents / @soundwellslc for having me out and @haven.empire for the lace up 🫡

Always love when turntables are at the spot.
Yo, on the real? I’m mad excited about the amount of drum and bass rolling through the city over the next months. We’ve been waiting so long for this to pop off in the US and I’m glad its finally here.
@dnbos_ with Fred V & Etherwood tonight with the fam. See you all soon 🔥
Yo!!!! Thought these needed a home 🏠
LET ME KNOW WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE 📋
The end of March / first week of April I decided to go in on a nightly session during the week. I posted clips from those sessions on my stories which turned into the “daily double” and then escalated to a bit more 😝
Second week was the Artemis II mission so every drop had Solar System in it to pay respect 🫡
Catch me next at @dnbos_ HARD RESET w Metrik & Bensely on June 20th at Soundwell 🥵
It’s been 2 weeks since we had to say goodbye to Winston. I’m missing him a little extra today. So I went through and found one picture or video of him each year of his life plus a couple more. It was hard to only choose one. Some of my favorite things about him were how we would always find him sleeping in the funniest positions. How he loved to rest one of his front legs on the arms of the couch and sit like a human would. His cute little sad-boy-face look would just melt my heart. He loved to obsessively lick Steve’s head, a.k.a. “The Popsicle.” And of course, his constant suckling of his Ted, was one of the most precious things I’ve ever seen a dog do.
I also wanted to share this 12th century poem from this book about grief that I am currently reading.
‘Tis a fearful thing
To love
What death can touch.
To love, to hope, to dream,
And oh to lose.
A thing for fools, this,
Love,
But a holy thing
To love what death can touch.
For your life has lived in me;
Your laugh once lifted me;
Your word was a gift to me.
To remember this brings painful joy
‘Tis a human thing, love,
A holy thing
To love
What death can touch.
There was a moment there, where I thought that maybe the space I had created in my life was swallowed up by the changes that happened last year.
The realizations I had, the lessons I learned and the growth I made over the last decade all went out the window as I struggled to adjust.
Then, I spent a bunch of time with the people I love and fought as hard as I could to do the things that make me the best version of myself and I remembered the simplest, but most profound idea that opened me up years ago; that everything is okay and that I’m exactly where I need to be ☺️
This moment was too dope to not have on the feed 😮💨
Loki & Steez still out here repping in ‘25 is all I could have asked for from our city 🔥
