Twelve years ago today, Tyler Maas and I launched @milwaukeerecord . My journal entry for that day: “Up at 5 a.m. to open and test the new site. Goes off without a hitch. Huge response. We did it. This last week, two notable pieces of writing hit about the fillm. First, Matt Wild (@slpmode ) of the Milwaukee Record (@milwaukeerecord ) writes about his experience learning Corey has branded him as part of the insidious forces "working for the dark side."
And in his essential substack "Nathan Rabin's Bad Ideas," @nathanrabin writes about the film in tandem with his own longtime history as a cultural critic and observer of Corey over the years.
