#SisterhoodInPractice: In honor of International Women’s Day, we are thrilled to launch „Sisterhood in Practice,“ a special online exhibition running on our platform from 8 March to 8 April. Featuring the work of sixteen incredible artists from across the globe, this digital circuit uses the universal language of photography to foster a more inclusive conversation within our community.

Sandra-Lee Phipps is a fine art photographer, documentarian, and educator. Bringing together female artists in a collaborative exchange, the project dismantles fixed ideas of femininity through layered voices that assert identity as something cultivated, not prescribed. Sisterhood here is not sentimental but structural, built through dialogue, critique, and shared risk. Each contribution serves as testimony to lived experience, resilience, and reimagining. Working collectively, she rejects isolation, creating a space where vulnerability becomes strength and visibility an act of reclamation.
Nyo Jinyong Lian is a visual artist working across staged photography and moving image. Her project explores trust as a constructed and power-laden dynamic within intimate spaces. Through staged “rituals,” the works examine how balance, vision, and identity are controlled and imposed on the body. Her works open space for alternative forms of relation rooted in collective care and matrilineal thinking, positioning intimacy as a political site where power is negotiated and reimagined.
✨Our commitment to elevating female-identifying and non-binary voices doesn’t end when the exhibition closes. To ensure these vital stories resonate all year long, we are launching a series of Artist Features on our website throughout 2026. This is more than a showcase; it’s a long-term dedication to bringing underrepresented practices to the forefront of the art world.
