@stephsurfshop x @slowtide 🐬🩷 There’s a certain kind of day this collection brings to mind. Early starts, boards in the back, chasing swell up the coast. From Australia to wherever the next window opens, the rhythm stays the same. Salt in the air, sun coming in stronger by the hour, nowhere you need to rush off to. Steph Surf Shop pulls from that space. A virtual surf shop shaped by art, travel, surf culture, and the feeling of places that start to blur together in the best way. This collection moves through the day without much thought. Thrown in the car, packed for the next stretch of coast, laid out between sessions and left within reach after. The kind of pieces that follow you from one place to the next and quietly become part of it.

Meet Sunny. A standout abstract floral print inspired by long afternoons in the sun, salt on your skin, and days that stretch longer than planned. Made for heat, water, and wherever the season takes you 🌾

@tavaruaislandresort has been part of our conversations since before @slowtide had a name. At our core, we’re surfers building something around this lifestyle we love, and Tavarua Island in Fiji has always been the ultimate surf trip in our minds. Over a decade of Slowtide later, we finally made it there. No amount of dreaming and anticipation could ever do it justice, and experiencing it together with our families made it a trip we’ll never forget. Seeing our custom DriftWeave towel we created in collaboration with them in the island shop felt all the more surreal in person. Full circle moment for us and the brand. Dario, Wylie, & Kyle

At the historic Wailua Sugar Mill on the North Shore of Oʻahu, @giulia.avilaa and @belikentradingcompany have opened the @centerofradicaleducation inside the Hawaiian Surfing Museum. A gathering space dedicated to preserving surfboard design, surf magazines, film, and the culture surrounding them.

On the North Shore of Oahu, @giulia.avilaa and @belikentradingcompany have built a home between mountain and sea. Green peaks rise behind them while the ocean moves just across the street. Most days begin outside and end back home again, drifting easily between saltwater, family time, and the quiet rhythm of the North Shore. Inside, their space feels layered and lived in. Art from friends lines the walls. Objects gathered over the years sit beside photographs and surf history. Nothing feels overly placed — everything holds a story. The house reflects the things they value most: creativity, culture, music, and time together. Step inside their North Shore home on the blog.

This season’s Tahiti Beach Towel comes from a story shared by our Creative Director, @wylievon . In 1977, his mother set sail from Maui with the Lahaina Yacht Club, bound for Tahiti. She was 18. The trip stayed with her long after she returned. She came home with a suitcase full of fabric and ideas that would eventually become her bikini business, The Poi Factory. Today, framed photos from that voyage still hang on the wall. A closet still holds the swimsuits and hand-cut patterns she made more than forty years ago. The Tahiti print carries that memory forward. A modern take on the Tahitian hibiscus, rendered in retro tones that feel warm, sun-worn, and familiar. A quiet nod to distance traveled, creativity passed down, and the stories that shape what we make 🌺

UPDATE: We donated over $10k via the gofundme link, thank you for your support!! Over the past 10+ years, @kylervos has been part of the Slowtide story in a real way. From cold water shoots to early mornings chasing light, he’s been there through it all. If you’ve seen our work from Canada, you’ve likely seen his work. Recently, Kyler was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive spinal glioblastoma. What started as numbness last year led to months of testing and the discovery of tumors in his spinal cord and brain. He’s already gone through major surgery and is now facing a long road of recovery, along with radiation and treatment. At the same time, he and Jaymee are raising their three boys, Thatcher, Arden, and Harlan. We created a collaborative towel, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly toward helping them through this next chapter. Kyler has always been someone who shows up. For people, for the community, for every shoot. He brings good energy no matter the conditions. Now it’s time to show up for him. If you’re able to support, it means a lot. If not, sharing this goes a long way.

We’re launching a limited-edition capsule in collaboration with @sigzanedesigns and @florence_marine_x to support recovery efforts across Oʻahu’s North Shore. The collection brings together a t-shirt and hat by @florence_marine_x , alongside a quick-dry towel and a packable picnic blanket, both featuring original artwork by @sigzanedesigns . The print draws inspiration from the kalo plant, a symbol of resilience and renewal. It grows from what remains, shaped by water, grounded in connection. In ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, the word kākoʻo means to support, aid, uphold, or assist.  In the wake of the recent flooding, that meaning lands differently. Entire communities across Waialua, Haleʻiwa, Lāʻie, and others were submerged. Homes were lost. What continues is the work of clearing, rebuilding, and caring for one another. 100% of proceeds will directly benefit North Shore families through Storm Kōkua by @helpmauirise , as well as supporting cleanup, rebuilding, and long-term care for families and neighborhoods impacted through the @lahuifoundation . The presale will be open for 7 days (ending on Friday, April 3 at 12am PST) with product shipping approximately 4-6 weeks after it closes. If you prefer to contribute directly, we’re also sharing trusted resources on our blog via the link in bio. Support the North Shore through the link in our + @florence_marine_x bio.

Inspired by @rebecca_elise . For our newest collection, she returned to antique quilts and old textile books, pulling from nearly a decade of designing quilt-inspired towels for @daydreamsurfshop . Mossy olive, dusty rose, faded denim, and tide pool teal settle into each other like colors left in the sun just long enough. She often looks to her own film photography of landscapes to guide a palette, letting nature do what it does best. The result feels feminine yet structured, soft yet grounded, with patterns that hold their shape while still feeling lived in. She collects textures, references, and fragments of ideas long before anything becomes final. Head to the blog to meet Becca and step inside her world.
