I volunteer for Better Beginnings by leading postpartum support groups, “Baby Villages”. I host one in Santa Rosa and I co-host one on Sebastopol. There are groups almost every day of the week and they are all run by volunteers that are trained in lactation support. We also staff a “warm line” available for breastfeeding support any day of the week.
Aside from that, Better Beginnings provides a service called “Doula in a pinch”, where women without support partners can get doula support during their births at no cost. It’s an incredible service👶✨
