Dream come true sorry!! My first full play in print I don’t have to be calm about it! This play has been my first of so many milestones and I am so excited for it to get into more hands. Special shoutout to my dear friend collaborator and vampire DOCTOR @jmrezes who has been a champion for me and The Interrobangers from the very beginning. They’ve written a very special introduction in the anthology, and I would not be the same artist without them.

On the personal, professional, psychic, polytheistic, and ‘pataphysical planes this has been one of the best years of my life thanks to the act of making art and frankly shocking levels of prescription ketamine. 1. When Bee and I looked up and found ourselves in The Red Room 2. I made 3x as many masks as last year and I’ll sell you a one of a kind mask if you want one 3. I got to foster Maimonides while Nicky and Hal went on a grand adventure 4. I saw so much theatre with my forever friend Kylie Kirk 5. Forging my bond with Mack ever dearer and stronger 6. When Pippin went to 1 drag brunch and then started wearing wigs 7. Writing for IPASOY was the most thrilling and unexpected surprise, making theatre with MackHeath is the kind of thing I want to do forever, a way back to then, yadayadayada, etc. 8. 20th Anniversary of the Levine Cup/Family Reunion moments before I lost three rounds of bowling with a severity never before seen by mortal eyes 9. Mack and Murphy and Emerson being my favorite team making new trans canon in musical theatre 10. Nicky and Hal getting married I love them. 11. Marge and John and I going to see Nicky and Hal get married. 12. Jack continues to be the best dog on earth 13. Milanovich continues to have my favorite smile on earth. 14. Making new queer horrors with Genevieve and Skidmore College students in a freaking art museum 15. Meow Wolf was incredible think I liked it even more than Pippin 16. Jake Beckhard was in NYC for much but not enough of this year 17. Natalie Walker the living seance that you are, I love summoning the ancient deranged feminine with you. 18. Dog and Father 19. 😁 20. Patti LuPone and Rachel Zegler in a horrible Gen Z fever dream spooky show whose audio I probably shouldn’t make public on my profile Post accompanied by music from my no.1 most listened to album, Dead Outlaw OBCR, with some of my favorite lyrics. “where the inside meets the outside that’s where the trouble begins”

This month has been in fact really great for me outside the rising tide of fascism. I’ve gotten to work with my favorite people every day. I got to tell jokes about Patti Lupone and write Hocus Pocus delirium as a small part of raising over $310k for gay kids. I’ve harnessed my brainworms in ways I’ve been trying to do my entire life and it feels like I’m sort of figuring it out because I’ve found people with the same brainworms as me.
