Sliver x Schulman, Sliver’s first author merch collaboration. Sliver is thrilled to team up with the legendary novelist, non-fiction author, playwright, AIDS historian, activist, screenwriter, and East Village lesbian icon, Sarah Schulman, for an exclusive baseball cap collaboration celebrating the New York writer’s work.  Sliver x Schulman features two baseball caps. One celebrates her landmark 2012 book, The Gentrification of the Mind: Witness to a Lost Imagination, and another marks her latest work, The Fantasy and Necessity of Solidarity.  The Sliver x Schulman The Gentrification of the Mind cap is vintage-style grey denim, with text in purple embroidery, and an adjustable matt brass buckle clasp. The Solidarity cap is black organic cotton, with text in grey embroidery, and an adjustable matt grey metal buckle. This is Schulman’s first merch collaboration, and all proceeds go to Sliver’s work in hosting affordable live queer literature events, as well as publishing boundary-pushing queer work. Sliver is hugely grateful to Sarah Schulman for her support of our independent queer press.  The caps were designed by Luke Henebry with Sliver, and embroidered in Dublin. They will be for sale for €30 exclusively at Sliver Salon events. The first opportunity to purchase them will be at Sliver Salon with Sarah Schulman at Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin, on Thursday April 9th.

🕊️SLIVER EDITIONS ANNOUNCEMENT 🕊️ Plan Life Go by Julie Fogarty Published by Sliver Editions, Spring 2026 Design by Matt Lambert @dielamb In this wild and fearless memoir, the artist Julie Fogarty draws a psychic map of 1990s Dublin in the midst of both an explosive rave scene and a devastating heroin epidemic - both forever leaving their marks on the social fabric of the Irish capital. Chaotic, thoughtful, hilarious and sobering, Plan Life Go traverses raves and rehab, courtrooms and dance-floors, house parties and NA meetings, jail cells and bedroom breakdowns. Ferociously told through the eyes of an exceptional artist losing herself in hedonism, addiction, and queer lust, Plan Life Go strikes at the heart of what it means to almost destroy oneself, and what it takes to crawl back from the brink. Plan Life Go doesn’t so much unseat the characterisations and clichés of addiction, recovery and queer self-discovery, as completely tear them apart. This is Julie Fogarty’s debut book, announcing her as an utterly authentic new voice in Irish writing. For more info go to sliverpress.com and subscribe to the Sliver newsletter.
