We did this independently and we did it with you. The work is endless and the sacrifice is real but the music and the community are well worth it.

Built a guitar! Which is something I did professionally for years but this one is special because it's the first one I designed from the ground up (swipe for my original inspo sketch). I used the Tool Library makerspace and a DIY shop in my fire escape, I sanded it in my kitchen and sprayed it in the alley.
I wanted something simple and sturdy that rips- having already put it through 2x tours w/ @theobgms and a bunch of recording it passes with flying colours (couple battle scars in time for the pics). It plays and sounds excellent. I love how much bite you can get from a tele bridge pickup (it's a magnet surrounded in a lil sea of metal!) but I wanted an offset p90 guitar with some SG influence... Anyway it worked out and I'm very stoked with it.
I feel more connected to my primary instrument than ever before. Feels great to create something from nothing. I am working on some very interesting unrelated build projects that I'm looking forward to sharing soon.. maybe more guitars first tho.
