There are no words to describe just how epic and brutal Unbound was. Eleven miles in and the race was shattered. Through all the mayhem I knew there were riders ahead but I didn’t know how many or who it was, all I knew was that I was going to do everything possible to get up there. I set off chasing with one other rider and we soon picked up a third and went all in for about three hours to make up time but only managed to get back one minute. I knew the whole time I was going to pay for the effort later in the day but I wanted nothing else than to be in the front group. At mile 130 it all caught up to me and it was survival to the finish. Limited the damage as best I could and crossed the line in 20th.
The amount of support I felt from everyone in my corner was amazing and they are truly the reason I could push through the lows out there. I can’t believe I’m already looking forward to next year.

Tour of Gila was an experience. Rode like ass the first few days but came around a bit for the final two days. Shoutout to @landistrilogyvetmed for making it possible 👊🏼
Another Whiskey Off Road in the books. I was able to get myself in the front group going up Skull Valley but didn’t have it to hang there and had to set my own pace for the rest of the day for 9th in the end. Overall a great weekend with even better people
