Odds and ends this morning. Lot of stuff to get to. Just 0000 steel wooled, oiled and waxed this board. New strings, intonation and all that. Gotta get going here. Coffee helps. #guitartech #whatsonyourbench

First pair of fret pullers going out tomorrow. Excited. Might start offering these regularly. Got some corrugated mailers from eBay and ready to rock. #guitartech #frets

Freehand belt sanded to a razor edge for fret pulling. Swipe right to see where they started. Getting the jaws to this razor edge is critical. Might start offering these for sale but I'll see. Full size fret pullers eliminate the need for heat and the surface area of the jaws keeps chips from coming up. I have pulled untold amounts of frets out with these things over many years. #guitartech #frets

Making a pair of fret pullers for a customer that found my Guitar MD YouTube channel and hit me up in an email ([email protected]). Haven't been offering these for sale yet but I might. They have to be ground down perfectly in order to work the way they're supposed to. Razor's edge, just about. I do these freehand and I would say they are pretty damn hard to make properly. #guitartech #fretwork #frets

Training pullups after you've lost your ability to do them. Isometric holds into negatives. Feels good to be training again. #gymnastics #strengthtraining

Deoxit D5 and F5. I always use F5 on PCBs just in case. Crackly tube jack got some D5 and a Q tip, and also a thorough snugging up with Jack the Gripper and a wrench. All the pots got a good blasting with F5. Turned them all back and forth thoroughly and then hit them again one more time. All seems good to go now. And can get to the setup without worrying about the electronics anymore. Really do not feel like pulling this board and sourcing and replacing all the pots. Very happy Deoxit seems to have pulled through again on another job. #deoxit #electronics #guitartech

New "Lightweight" A3 neck pickup. Double build poly insulated 42AWG and custom modern stagger A3 magnets. Sibling to the Super Heavyweight bridge pickup but going in the opposite direction: under wound and lower output, for the naturally dark neck position. #guitartech #pickups

Swipe to see "After" pics. Unfortunately Instagram sizing options suck. So it cropped the hell out the pictures I took. But basically: new string trees, handmade Pickguard and backplate, Gun Street wiring custom harness, new four point output jack, new knobs, Gotoh steel block tremolo, Seymour Duncan pickups, arcade button kill switch, full fret understring level, crown and polish, including my partial compound radius technique, and working on making a new nut using my proprietary compensated equal gap spacing. #guitartech #whatsonyourbench
