I thought I’d try an influencer esc style video & do some talking, I really admire creatives that bridge modern social media standards with there medium and document the process, I once made YouTube videos in high school and got bullied so I gave up ahaha but it seems to be these days everyone’s very supportive regardless of the quality. I’m planning on documenting some more behind the scenes in some upcoming shoots :)
`See Ya’ music video out now. This project was so enjoyable to shoot with @heyseaside we pulled all the colour inspiration / referencing from my own work & a slitherin colour gamut creating and combining an alien esc outer space look. All scenes were shot on a 12mm t2 Meike Cine Prime for a pulled back distorted look at reality from the ufo’s perspective. Happy release day woooo.

Quick breakdown of my current Canon C70 setup.
This has been my primary camera package for recent commercial, fashion, music and branded content projects. Built around a lightweight and efficient workflow while still maintaining flexibility for post production and colour grading.

Acid Shadow
This edit & grade is heavily inspired by the enormous amount of 2000s neo noir cinema films I have set my eyes on recently.
Mind you the location looked completely different too this, 12 bit raw, assisted lighting & slamming the iso in post gives you extremely deep blacks & shadows which the c70 holds together extremely well. No colour banding which amazes me. 10 bit log managed to band on the top end of most clippings. Absolutely love this codec.

Night Walker 📟🔦
My infatuation with overpasses and the eeriness they give me always makes for a fun little project. I’ve spent so much time in the city walking home from shoots at night over bridges and underpasses. I resonate with the stillness you get from using these infrastructures. I feel as if I’m a fly on the wall watching the world pass by, they can make me feel quite lost at times.
Milford Sounds thank you, what an amazing adventure hiking over 60kms in 4 days accompanied by my lovely mum & dad. experienced all four seasons in all four days, must be a kiwi thing ?
was a must needed trip. Many moments of tranquility to tap into the spirituality of the mountains and let go of lots & also take in lots.
