overdue post about how sweden is a magical country and how everyone is so kind and how kanelbullar is a gift upon humans and how the subways are clean and quiet and how you never have to wait more than five minutes at any station to catch a train and how great the ferries are and how expansive the vassamusset is and how sabrina and derek and wonderful to travel with and how paramore is fantastic live even if that was already a proven fact and how nothings gonna change my world and how
THE GREENERY
On Sunday, April 14th (almost a month ago now jeez I've been putting this off), the cast of The Greenery took their final bow at The Tank's 56-seat theater. What started as a simple (and admittedly half baked at the time) 5 page homework assignment in Lizzie Olesker's playwriting class quickly turned into a little passion project of mine. It was truly only a matter of time until I wrote a play that involved concerts in some capacity. I just didn't think it was going to be the first full length play of mine that got staged out of school.
Thank you to the cast of The Greenery for bringing this show off the page in the pristine way you did. Thank you, Derek, for leading the way and finding the words when they seemed all but lost. Thank you to The Tank for giving us the resources to make this project a reality. Thank you to everyone who came out to the show or the fundraiser and showed their support. Recently, I've been having a lot of trouble finding my worth as an artist, and so many moments throughout this process helped remind me why I do this in the first place, and for that, I am unbelievably grateful.
Hope to get back to more of this soon.

This is what I've been up to since graduating college. Some of it, at least. I (finally) became a fan of film. I worked a lot. I also wrote a lot. Speaking of which, you may want to keep your calendars open on April 12th-14th. That's all I've got for now. See you next year!
Thank you Izzy for the first picture!
I Missed You (Stranger)
Wow. Just wow. It's been about 43-ish hours since the final iteration of this project, and I am still reeling. To the cast and crew, thank you so much for cultivating this concept into something beautiful. To everyone who came out to the show, thank you for your time. I'm going to remember the night of April 22, 2023 for a very, very, VERY long time.
Eternally grateful to you all.

2022 was absolutely nuts, but for the first time in three years, it was a good kind of nuts. Thank you to all of the new and old faces for making this year as special as it was and for ending it right. See you all in 2023.
