A project captured throughout road trips in Nottinghamshire and the peaks, revisiting the places, things and people that hold significance in my dad’s process of grief surrounding the loss of his mum to cancer at 18.
This project narrates trauma, why people deal with it differently and it’s effect on memory, but also serves as a message from me to me grandma, telling her I see her, the things that were great about her and the things she did so my dad could succeed
