Teams arrived in Manaus, the capital of Amazonas state in Brazil to find an Arena set up on the Rio Negro waterfront for Malacara Race, sponsored this year by Suunto Brazil.
Meeting old friends, a spectacular sunset, and a colourful and moving opening ceremony set the scene for the race ahead.

It's one of the quieter periods for the ARWS, with results added for 9 events, however 3 of these are the recent qualifiers. 400team retain their top position in the world rankings and 8 nationalities are represented in the top 10.

Still time to register for Endurance Quest Lohja 2026 – ARWS European Series!
This time the course travels around Lohja, with water playing a major role as the route is built around Lake Lohja. Be prepared to get wet and spend plenty of time paddling.
As in previous editions, trekking stages will use IOF-standard maps and MTB stages will feature MTBO maps, ensuring racers can enjoy some of the best singletracks in southern Finland.
Free airport transfer is available for international teams.
