We had an excellent interview with Chris and Rob from the best punk band from Montana — Goners UK! We got to talk about their new album A Long Way Down (you'll even get first dibs on a couple of their songs before it's officially released), their rigorous touring schedule in their near future and how they bounced back from the infamous robbery that they experienced while stopping off in our lovely city.

Tales From the Pit — Are We Not Men? We are DEVO-ted!!!
That's what we are! This was a Christmas present to my girlfriend. The last time we saw them was when they played the Kilby Block Party last year with New Order. We were late so we missed like the first five or so songs and we were super far back so we didn't get the full effect. But I got the tickets for free so who gives a shit.
This time, I made sure that we get to see them in an encased venue and that we get close enough to count the stitches on their yellow jumpsuits. Okay, we didn't get that close but still, anything was an upgrade. The venue was packed and I could point out the obvious mega-fans — folks wearing the trademark yellow jumpsuits and red dome hats and there was even one person there dressed up as one of the spud boys.
DEVO was the only band that night and that's perfect because that's all we needed!
