pov: you’re an esthetician and your skin still humbles you 🫧🤍 i kept thinking my skin was just “dry” because no matter how much moisturizer i used… my forehead + brows stayed rough, flaky, and textured turns out — it wasn’t dryness at all it was likely a mix of: • skin barrier damage • and/or something like seborrheic dermatitis (yes… basically face dandruff) which means: 🚫 more moisturizer wasn’t the fix 🚫 exfoliating made it worse what actually helped: • simplifying my routine • repairing my barrier (ceramides > everything) • treating the root cause, not just the symptoms friendly reminder: even as an esthetician, your skin can change and sometimes you have to treat yourself like a client again 🤍 #estheticianlife #skinbarrierrepair #seborrheicdermatitis #textureskin #skincarejourney
