Before SLAPPED Records became what it is today, there was “Secret” – a track born from a voicemail, from a friendship still finding its footing. The second collaboration between @mitch.oliver_dj & @mightdeletelatermusic , it captured something spontaneous and unguarded, two artists with vastly different musical instincts finding a shared frequency.
Now, over a year later, SLAPPED reopens the Secret to two of the world’s finest remixers. @cameronjackmusic distills the track to its emotional core with a sonic minimalism – Balearic warmth cut with London grit. However deep a track finds @dilbydj , he takes it deeper — a global figurehead for deep house whose prolific catalog speaks for itself.
We’re over the moon to release these remixes & relive a summer with these tracks. Huge thanks to the crew for bringing this to light 🌞🙏❤️🔥🤫

We’ve had too much fun throwing SLAPPED Showcase events in Montreal, we figured it was only fit to take it to our favourite spots. We’re overjoyed to kick it off at Akasha. A gem of a space, run by amazing humans, constantly filled with people who love & live for the music. We’ll be in Las Dalias Garden all evening & inside Akasha all night long.

At the risk of blowing our own trumpet, we think we’ve been on a tear so far in 2026. Three months, six tracks, 100% SLAP.
Along the way, we’ve passed 1M streams as a label on Spotify, seen support from some legends, and come together over some of life’s challenges as a team.
