Fragments of Humanity – Three Human Stories
Geneva, Galerie Rue des Artistes, April 11 to May 3, 2026
“Fragments of Humanity” offers a visual exploration of a fragmented yet deeply connected humanity.
The exhibition is structured around three monumental photographic works: HOME, LIVE#, and LOVE. Each piece is constructed as a mosaic made up of hundreds of images.
From a distance, the works appear as simple, readable forms. But as you move closer, they reveal themselves to be composed of a multitude of individual photographs, each one a fragment of lives, cultures, and human experiences.
Each image thus becomes a piece of a larger story.
This dual reading invites the viewer to navigate between two scales: that of the overall image and that of the individual stories that compose it.
The gaze shifts between the symbolic power of a word - HOME, LIVE#, LOVE - and the human richness contained within each photographic fragment.
I invite you to slow down, to look differently, and to discover that behind every image lies a presence, a story, a life. Because while each photograph tells a singular moment, together they reveal a broader truth: we are all part of the same story.

Photographic mosaic composed of over 1,000 images from Día de los Muertos celebrations in Oaxaca, San Diego and San Francisco.
Live# is my second visual patchwork after LOVE, dedicated to India.
A visual celebration of fragments of life, memory and identity.
Formed from more than 150 individual photographs taken during Día de los Muertos celebrations, the piece reflects on the paradox of life and death, a celebration that honors those who have passed while reaffirming what it means to be truly alive.
Through its fragmented structure, Live# captures the pulse of our own existence. An invitation to see us “being alive” not as a static state, but as an active consciousness, an acknowledgment of one’s own presence, vulnerability, and individuality within the vast, interconnected fabric of humanity.
In its complexity, Live# becomes both a mirror and a map , a reminder that to live is to remember, to feel, and to see oneself as part of something greater, yet uniquely one’s own.
