While driving across the country as it actively cannibalizes itself, I'm reminded that this land still holds magic within that we could never dream of tapping into. Over the last decade I couldn't help but think of people as the sole cancer on this immaculate rock, that we alone destroy so much more than we create. I still believe that now more than ever and I don't care for blind positivity (so don't bother with me, I'm begging you). But as terrible as we are to our only home in the universe, I have faith that it will outlive us. When the people and corruption are no more, when hatred and self-interest go extinct, this incredible chunk of chaos floating through nothingness will heal and forget all about us. And I look forward to that day for this planet and its many gifts. The world is not my home, I'm just passing through.
