SLACKER has been a band since february of 2024, when jp and sam asked avery to help them record demos of some original music. since then, we’ve been working nonstop to simply record the songs that are out today, RIGHT NOW, on our debut album Act Natural. from the first show we played to the most recent one, these songs have been growing and evolving. we rehearsed every tuesday night until midnight or later, played a lot of fuckass shows, made a lot of bad recordings, and then started to make some really good ones. we truly hope you enjoy this music as much as the three of us enjoy making it. without @skydeci recording and producing this album, it wouldn’t be even close to the quality that it is. he turned this into a genuinely respectable body of work as opposed to the little group of demos we were planning on throwing together. and @jordankrimston mixed and mastered the hell out of it. we couldn’t have done any of it without them. thank you to everyone who’s been following along on our journey so far. we’re incredibly proud to finally share our work with you, and we have more on the way. come by a show and get a CD or order one online (link in bio), they have four extra tracks on them. we love you slackers, go give the album a listen 😎
