In late 2022, I had the profound privilege of being invited deep into the forests and jungles of Gabon, Africa, among the Punu people, to participate through the lens of documentary storytelling and complete musical absorption. Their sound, rituals, and reverence for nature revealed powerful ancestral pathways back to the soul…
In honor of what was shared with me, In the near distant future (let’s hope 🙏) I’ll be bringing forth both a film and a techno music release inspired by these experiences… an offering meant to carry fragments, like many other techno artists I admire, of that spirit, rhythm, and connection back onto dance floors… In the meantime, i’ll keep spinning tunes, collaborate with friends and dance my ass off (: … PS. That final slide was a painting I made in Brazil a long time ago.. turns out it became the reason why I was invited to Africa in the first place ⭕️
