Sky is 10 now. She doesn’t perform in every show like she used to, but she will always be my favorite dance partner. She’s still my shadow, and comes on every adventure, but nowadays her job consists of scent work, the occasional agility race, and a trick routine if she’s feeling up to it. We owe it all to you, THE Sky dog. 💜

Agility class was so fun today! Kimm set up a wild course with multiple discriminations, 12 weaves, and endless options for crosses and switches. Mira enjoyed flowing through the challenges. She’s really learning how the listen and be speed at the same time.

We had the chance to do another awesome halftime show for the @vegas.bighorns opening game this season! 🥏 This time, I was a one man circus, and I think we pulled it off. Tilly busted out his hula hoops and managed to make quite a few frisbee catches despite the wind! I took a gamble and decided to dance with Mira instead of played frisbee this time, and WOW the crowd loved her! 💃🏼🐕 Thank you again Bighorns and thank you @ashmore.media for capturing these awesome shots of the action! Mira got to go to agility class with @pennyspuppytraining today! Bray encouraged us to push our distance and try a switch after a set of weaves which was a really cool challenge with Mira! Ghost 👻

I started this video for Ghost’s 8th birthday last month and never quite finished it. And if you know me, you know Ghost is a special boy. He was my inbred Craigslist puppy, and has always been a little quirky. He has PRA and has lost his vision, along with some of his favorite hobbies. Ghost was my first high jumper, clearing 48” for county fairs. He has been the unexpected star of theatre shows, stealing the hearts of thousands. He used to love to catch a frisbee, but now he just carries them around when he finds one. He only has a handful of tricks he can still do, and he can’t seem to go for a walk without tripping over a curb or on a rock! But, he’s hanging in there. He enjoys sniffaris in the grass at his regular park, and curling up on his cozy blanket. We love you Toaster Strudel. 👻🤍

We practiced AKC FAST in agility class this week! The object of the game is to create your own path, collecting points for each obstacle, and keeping it under time! It was cool to see all of my classmates tackle it differently, yet we all found our own flow. Mira only left out one jump, and we were even able to get the master level distance bonus! Thank you @kimmbonecutter for always keeping class fun and challenging for us. Mira has been loving agility more than ever before!
