Hey! Welcome to SK Visualography. I’m Satesh, and alongside my wife, Ashley, we have the privilege of capturing love stories through photography and filmmaking. Our approach is all about authenticity—documenting real moments, genuine emotions, and the connections that make your story unique. Every couple we work with has a story worth telling, and we’re here to preserve it with intention and purpose. Love. Work. Serve. Create. 1 Corinthians 16:14 – Let everything you do be done in love. Colossians 3:23 – Work with all your heart as if for the Lord. 1 Peter 4:10 – Use your gifts to serve others. These verses are the foundation of how we create, how we serve, and how we walk in our calling. Photography and videography are more than just a profession to us—they are a way to honor love, work with excellence, and serve with purpose. For our couples, this means every moment we capture is intentional. It’s about more than just beautiful images; it’s about preserving the emotions, the connection, and the meaning behind each wedding day. Because when love is at the center, everything else falls into place.

The big moments matter, but so do the quiet ones in between. That is always the stuff we love capturing too.

Outdoor vs indoor Hindu ceremony. Both can be beautiful. Both just come with different pros and cons. Outdoor ceremonies usually give you that open, airy, grand look. The light can be really nice and the whole setup can feel super beautiful. But now you are dealing with heat, wind, rain, harsh sun, bugs, and the pressure of staying on time so you do not lose good light. Indoor ceremonies give you more control. Better protection from weather, easier on guests, and usually less stress when it comes to timing and comfort. But depending on the space, it can feel tighter, darker, or harder to move around if the setup is crowded. From our side, it really comes down to what matters most to you. If you want the outdoor look, plan it well. If you want more control and less weather stress, indoor might be the move. There is no wrong choice. Just the better choice for your day. @ritanibeauty @shyneeventservices @falconsfireweddings

Doing your wedding portraits on a separate day might actually be a really good idea. Cause real talk, wedding days move fast, almost too fast And sometimes portraits end up feeling rushed cause the timeline is tight, people are waiting, the light is changing, and now you lowkey feel pressure to hurry through it. When you do it on a separate day, it just feels different. You got more time, you can go to a spot you actually love, you're not thinking about guests, you're not trying to squeeze everything in at once, and that can get overwhelming. You can actually chill a little and be in the moment. And then on the actual wedding day, you are not gone forever taking portraits. You get to be there more, enjoy your people more, and move through the day with less stress. For some couples, that setup just makes way more sense. Whether the portrait session is before, or even after the wedding. Not saying it is for everybody. But yeah, it can be a really solid move. Vicko & Sharmel decided to do that since we were losing sunlight on the day of their ceremony, so we scheduled the portrait session on another day, and look at the magic we got to create, all while not being held to a strict timeline.

A good getting ready session really starts before we even pick up the camera. Little things make a big difference. Have your details put aside and ready for us, things like: Rings, Shoes, Jewelry, Perfume, Invitation suite, Dress Anything else you want photographed Make sure the space is cleaned up as much as possible too. Nothing crazy. Just clear out bags, food containers, random clothes, water bottles, all the extra stuff that can end up in the background, or have a room or space dedicated for detail photos + portraits. And please allocated enough time in the schedule for these things. That part matters more than people think. When the morning feels rushed, everything feels rushed. But when there’s enough room in the timeline, the whole thing just flows better and everybody feels way more calm.

The best groom photos usually happen when he forgets the camera is even there. When he’s taking it all in. When he’s relaxed. When he’s fully present in the moment. That’s why our approach is simple: calm direction, natural moments, and nothing that feels forced. Because real always lasts longer than posed.

A bride should feel like herself on her wedding day. Our goal is not to force a moment. It’s to guide you in a way that feels natural, comfortable, and true to who you are. Because the best photos always feel real.
