I make music because I need it.
The whole process is nourishing me - from the moment I feel pregnant with the melody, to the point where I must give birth to it.
Composing is always smooth yet powerful - it steals my focus entirely and brings me to a dimension where I fill the space with patterns and inner thoughts sublimated into musical figures. In this place, I recall not only the voice of my soul, but also the echoes of writers, painters, philosophers, mathematicians, lovers that I've met on my journey.
The process doesn’t end but BEGINS with live performance—the image I constantly project in my mind. It’s the ultimate goal of my work, my ikigai.

Do you feel the difference? These are the three chords from Elegy of the Unfaded Memories.
But in open position.
I'll be a bit technical - in this way you don't have the pedal on the g string, and most of all you don't have the lower bass note moving down from e to d to c.
So it loses that 'descending' feeling. It's the traction that I wanted when I composed it.
On the other hand, in open position it gains a floating, ethereal sensation, in my opinion.
I'm thinking of giving space to this solution, and making an open version of Elegy of the Unfaded Memories.
It will be available on the vinyl version of 'Petals', on the B-side.
