The essence of Breaking is more important than the moves, at least it used to be that way.
Nowadays, there’s less essence, and it’s a shame because the style blends into something that makes everything you see look the same (not in all cases).
The vast majority trust more in what wins trophies rather than in what comes from within and what you want to contribute to the Breaking culture.
Because it’s easier to believe in something that is already created and works than in what you create yourself...
Read that last sentence again.

Today I have a hot video, for me one of the best UK Bboy Championships I’ve ever seen @bboychamps 2003
@skillmethodz1995 and @havikorocrew came together to form an incredible crew, definitely one of my favorite teams and tough to beat.
And so they did, they won the event but faced a lot of booing from the audience, which I found very unfair because even though the Korean Project team performed very well... Skill Methodz Havikoro had an essence and a style that, to this day, we realize indeed earned them the win.
Recently, Teknyc was debating in one of the comments on one of my videos that Skill Methodz were the most hated... well, this was one of the reasons... sheer ignorance.
