My foolish heart. It's a little distorted but I wanted to post something, it's been too long. Mostly playing standards at the moment, keen to do a set soon.

Using 100% brain power here
This is in 13/16, the bass line clave is 5 5 3, but it is accented by the top pitch every 4th note creating a long 3:4 polymeter over the 4 bars of 13/16.
In addition the top voices play the full 13 semi quavers each bar but are pitch grouped in 4’s creating a long accent grouping of 14 over the same 4 bars of 13/16.
Still not using the thumb pick, using the thumb nail is way easier and makes more sense on the classical gat for sure.
