We cannot thank all of the folks who came out for the 8th annual Get Trashed event. It was a fantastic event as always that ended with roughly 60 tires, heaps of metal, and a whole lot of wacky waste removed from the Upper Delaware River system.
Many thanks to our sponsors, event organizers, and chefs that work their butts off to make sure this event runs smoothly and that we’re all well fed. Thanks to Westkill Brewing for donating the much deserved beer, Oars of Hancock for donating shuttles & water crafts, and the folks that ethically dispose of the material we pull out of the river.

🚨IMPORTANT #GETTRASHED INFORMATION🚨
We’re very excited to be only a few days away from our annual river cleanup this Saturday August 17th. Our base for the day will be the DRC - there will be someone hanging out all day if anyone rolls in late.
Meet at the shop at 10AM. 1228 Winterdale Road Starlight, PA 18461. We will have a table at the bottom of the shop steps with some trash bags, granola bars, and water.
The river is recovering nicely from the rain over the weekend with flows under 1000 cfs. Be sure to keep an eye on the blog for daily conditions. Always have PFDs on board. Cleaning up along the road and or boat ramps are always an option!
Oars of Hancock is kind enough to be donating some shuttles to volunteers, but please give them and us a heads up if you’ll need a shuttle.
Iron Fly is Friday night at 7PM. Come hang out and get pumped for Saturday.
