Great newsāwe did it! We met our New Year fundraising goal of $1,000, and Iām seeing that donations are still coming in even after surpassing this milestone.
I am delighted and humbled by this outpouring of community support. While this fundraiser was about operational costs, it was really about community. Reaching this goal confirms that Ithaca wants a creative āthird spaceā downtown for collective work.
This spring, weāll be focused on keeping MACRE open for collaborative projects with our neighbors at Southside and the Village at Ithaca, making sure our resources stay accessible to everyone.
We are so grateful to be moving into the New Year with your enthusiasm and solidarity.
