Today we took the skeeprong out with Jake to load up on fresh Kole’s for an epic beach fish fry here on Maui! After a solid day in the water, we cooked up fresh fish and gave away some spearfishing gear to show love to the community. 🤙🌴🐟

My carbon fiber Skeeprong is super light and extremely fast. 💨 It's beautiful too. I'm in love and it's quickly becoming my weapon of choice. In fact, I haven't picked up my inverted roller gun since trying this. 🤯 This spear was our secret weapon and we are so grateful that Skeeprong in collaboration with @versaspear sponsored us these poles. 🙏🏼
Today I was able to bring home some fast moving mangrove snappers and margates because of the speed of this pole and ease in maneuvering it. We were also having fun drawing in some fish 🐠 🐟 by throwing sand around then waiting. ⌚ We saw a few hogfish and groupers too... (I can't wait for the beginning of the season)
It breaks down into 3 pieces making it easy to travel with and also adapt for the conditions. And it is the reason we took home first place 🏆 in the World Freshwater Spearfishing Competition in NZ 🇳🇿 because we were able to adapt these spears.
On day 1 of the comp I was running with the full length of the spear as I was spotting the fish swimming in the distance and as the viz dropped on second day, then I went for the shortest version of the pole. I was seeing the fish last minute on the dive and they were far more stationary.
I cannot recommend this polespear enough. 🐠

Nice haul of fish today using our @skeeprong polespears in a rocky cave location.
They performed really well, especially using the slip tip which secured the fish we shot at without losing them from tearing off.
Definitely performed better when twisting them to prevent bowing so that they shot straight.

If anyone is interested in purchasing one themselves, I would highly recommend this brand as it's performed way better than my previous two polespears and I won't be going back to them haha!!!
