In a cave things don’t always appear as they really are, and how sometimes I think I could be more like a bat, trusting less what I see, and more what I sense. I hope these songs find you wherever you are. 🦇🖤🦇

CYBORG MANIFESTO , the first song on my latest ep SHADOWMOUTH is a conversation between two voices, the outside and inner self. The song was inspired by Donna Haraway’s essay that identity is often built from inherited voices, systems and projections - similar to a life in a cave 🗿🕸️🩶

Nový projekt slovenské umělkyně zkoumá, jak ve vztazích i ve vlastním nitru reagujeme na projekce místo na skutečnost. Surovější zvuk, intimní emoce, otázky identity. Inspirací se staly jeskyně jako metafora lidského vnímání – i lidská ústa, kde ne vše řečené je myšleno a naopak.

Two weeks of SHADOWMOUTH 🩶🩶
The fact that this EP was made in the cold eastern european winter and completed in the dry/hot season in Thailand is somehow very telling of its message. Two opposing realities can coexist and within those one can still create something of a personal value. Sonically I wanted to create something similar, a more aggressive sound, with a very soft inside melting through. Less polished, more chaotic
This carousel is in no order. Just how I randomly found something which would sum up the experience.
On the first photo I’m finishing LIQUID SOUL on a boat somewhere in the sea 💦🌊 It was so hot during the days I sometimes had to work from a fridge lol. Then back to the snow shooting a video for CURSE ME NOW in the coldest winter. Studio time - s/o to @raylab for all the calls across the distance making sure this EP arrives on time. Waterfalls and more caves with little lakes in them 🩵 Monchhichi resting on a rock.
There’s hard and soft in everything.

This song wrote itself very fast. Just a few drum pads, one main synth and the vocals. And I wanted to keep it that way.
