Hiiii from your photographer and Super 8 videographer! Its meee! Wanted to reintroduce myself as I have a few new faces + have had some changes overall the past couple years/months. My photography career started when I was just around 12, stealing my sister’s digital camera for Tumblr. Created this account initially taking photos of the Chicago skyline + sunset. Fast forward to 2025 and now, it’s my full-time job documenting love stories and moments from local to worldwide!

I truly never thought I’d go back to school. Let alone be considered a ✨Master✨.I left undergrad feeling like I had simply survived. When you’re the first, you either break through or it breaks you. Sink or swim. Eat or be eaten. Well, it swallowed me up, broke me down, and drowned me all at once.
The information didn’t come the way I thought it would. I struggled to adapt. I struggled to find community. I was ashamed to ask for help. I wanted to go home. I felt like if I stayed I was failing, but if I left I’d be failing everyone counting on me.
I felt like the only way out was to take my own life. I tried so hard to leave. My attempts failed and by the time I found my way, the damage had been done to my GPA, and then COVID hit. I made multiple attempts to go back, but every time I was asked to show my transcripts, I cowered in fear. I let that 1.9 become my identity.
But this time around, I did more than Master Health Informatics.
I mastered myself.
I mastered my trust in God.
And I am so glad I stayed to see just how good He is and how good His plans are for me.
1 full-time job. 2 internships. Full-time student. Networking. A 3.9 GPA. Asking for help. Spotlight recognition.Restoring my belief in myself. Found my passion for higher education. That number is no longer my identity, it’s just a a part of my story.
My good is now my better, and my better is now my best. I can’t wait to see what’s next. 🙏🏾 …. Idk Dr.Alexandria Kirksey doesn’t sound too bad.
