Am 27.03. starten @medium_dino und ich eine neue Veranstaltungsreihe namens "Karambolage" im @clubwakuum . Unter Karambolage verstehen wir ein Aufeinanderstoßen verschiedener Genres, unter den Leitgedanken DIY statt AI, Miteinander > Schubladendenken und die Errichtung eines Orts, an dem sich alle wohlfühlen können.
Fürs Debüt dieser Reihe dürfen wir folgende Bands bekannt geben:

Formed in winter 2008 when three dudes decided that it would be the best to undercut the establishment by producing some earsplitting, mind-blasting and money-aristocracy-hating muSick.

Remeant ist eine Band die 2024 gegründet wurde.
Das vorerst nur als Nebenprojekt geplante Trio welches aus dem Gitarristen Bernhard Ziegler, seinem Bruder und Bassisten Christian Ziegler, sowie dem Schlagzeuger Lukas Nistelberger besteht, entwickelte sich jedoch schnell zu einer Herzensangelegenheit.
Stilistisch sind sie irgendwo zwischen Hardcore Punk und Post Blackmetal einzuordnen.

Jung, laut und dreckig. Der DIY-Sound von Krust Huny ist nicht zu überhören. Energiegeladen und schmerzbefreit machen sie einfach ihr Ding, bei dem am Ende nur eins zählt: der Spaß. Was sie selbst als couch gag punk rock beschreiben, zeigt deutlich, dass sie das Herz am linken Fleck haben.
Vereinsinterne Veranstaltung, eine Mitgliedschaft kann niederschwellig am Eingang abgeschlossen werden.
Update:
The past few days haven’t been easy for us. We used the time to reflect, regroup, and try to make the best out of a difficult situation. Cancelling the tour and rearranging everything was hard for us and on top of that we were seriously worried about whether Bene would get through the virus. It’s unbelievable how something as small as an insect can have the power to change everything. But in this situation we had no different option the to cancel the rest of the tour.
Unfortunately, Bene is still in bad condition. His liver and blood values are very concerning and his physical state is weak. We don’t know how long it will take until he is fully recovered. Things are improving very slowly, step by step, but we are cautiously optimistic that we’ll be able to play the upcoming shows. Please keep your fingers crossed for us. We might have to shorten our set. But for us, it’s important to keep playing and to give something back to you.

UPDATE:
Good news first: our bassist Bene is out of the hospital and made it onto a direct flight back home to Austria. He’ll need more check-ups there, but the most important thing is: he’s back in his safe space and finally has time to recover.
Now: THANK YOU. We did not expect this level of solidarity. It hit us hard. Because of you, we’ve been able to cover almost all the costs of this fucked-up situation so far. As soon as we know what the insurance will actually cover, we’ll do the math and talk openly about what happens with any money that might be left.
Ideas so far: donations, paying back the cultural institutions that supported us, or maybe a special release for charity. If you’ve got ideas — tell us. Nothing decided yet. We wait, then we act.
Most important: Bene is alive, recovering, and home. That’s everything.
