Hertzian Light is a collaborative exhibition by long-time friends SITES and Panorammma (@panorammma_ ), presented at Ovni Gallery (@ovni_gallery ). The exhibition explores light as a constructive force—shaping space, behavior, and forms of nomadic architecture within a world defined by constant transmission. The new works are constructed from repurposed laboratory glass, transforming tools of scientific observation into atmospheric and domestic artifacts. A resin egg encasing an obsolete iPod reframes early digital technology as an archaeological object—suggesting futures where sound, memory, and data persist as dormant matter circulating through hertzian space. Honored to have gotten to perform as part of Michèle Pagel’s Cassette-Label ‘RatRights’ (@ratrights ) during the Opening Reception & Mackey Apartments Open House for FINAL PROJECTS: GROUP LV, part of the MAK Center (@makcenter ) Artists and Architects-in-Residence Program. I am so grateful to have been invited to contribute to this special event, sharing creative energy with incredible artists and the unique architecture of Los Angeles. —— SITES seeks to generate ‘electroclimates,’ pursuing a sense of connectedness that permeates the sound. Immersed in technological spiritual syncretism, her works operate as atmospheres inhabiting hertzian space—the invisible and timeless architecture where electromagnetic waves, human experience, and their auras coexist. Through research and ambient music, she initiates temporary environments of contemplation, merging architectural heritage and context. Schindler resident Michèle Pagel, cofounder of the cassette label RatRights invited SITES to perform in the Mackey Garage for the opening event of the exhibition. The live concert was recorded on site and will be published as a documentation of this collaboration. An edition of 60 cassettes will be produced and released in Vienna 2025. ‘Spirit Signals’ Sites + Sol Oosel @soloosel Through the eyes of Fabrizio Hernandez @fabriziohzp & Hector López @hectoralr @salonacme no.11 Sites and Sol Oosel iniciate a temporary place, where they carry out a series of performative and musical acts. The conversations between Sites and Sol oscillate between spiritual syncretisms, Hertzian space, atmospheric attunements, invisible architecture, animism, the human experience and our relationship with the unknowable. The audio surrounds those present through a quadraphonic sound system, delimiting the electromagnetic sphere within which their auras coexist. #spiritsignals #salonacme2024
