This year saying goodbye to the wood snake 🐍 (ending Feb 16th) and hello to the highly energetic horse 🐎 on Feb 17th.. Alice and Frank made a feast to match this energy.. there was no rib bone left ungnawed nor a dumpling left to cool! absolutely delicious.. thank you! 😍❤️

a rainy evening finds us at @master.wei.3150 any excuse tbh and we endeavoured to try not the usual 酸辣粉 smacked cucumber and indisputable shredded potato but we went for ginger chicken- always spectacular- ribs which were balanced to perfection- seaweed soup with mung bean thread noodles which was so calming and refreshing and number 39. tomato based broth with pork and hand pulled noodles, sour, rich, umami with soft fat pork 🤤
flavours always hit the spot and the hospitality is 10/10, people were joyfully sitting outside even just to get the hot and sour soup into their bellies
Guirong Wei @guirongwei has made such a defiant and powerful impact on London eating.. to say the least! 🍽️

Rowan’s dads favourite cafe for Malaysian food is C&R on Rupert court so we headed there before a gallery visit to the RA. the soups were glorious, comforting and perfectly seasoned and hit the spot for this icy ❄️ weather.

Panuchos are a antojito (snack) originating from the Yucatan Peninsula 💛 it’s a fried tortilla typically made from corn masa, that is filled with refried black beans and topped with various ingredients, it’s soooo light and airy though like a cloud.. crispy on the outside with lots of air in the middle!
