We are Ambra Dentella @ambradentella , Janice Li @janicecyli and Anne Zhou @annezzzzzz , three friends who met during our time at the Royal College of Art in London, UK. Between us, we are curators, designers, researchers, makers and lecturers who have continued to bond, think and eat together with our London community in the years that followed. We created Sit, Feast on Your Life as a hybrid installation-roundtable-dinner party. Featuring over 50 international creatives, it explores the power of designed objects as a social binding force through exchanging ideas, sharing food, playing games and music. Seeded as a shared reflection of how design weeks have increasingly become devoid of emotive experience, this participatory, community-forming installation brings us back to the core relationship we have with material through the bonding act of eating together. 📷 Photos by @roc.h.biel 🪑 SIT, FEAST ON YOUR LIFE 15 - 21 April, Milan Design Week @dopo.space

BIDS How does the silent auction work? All pieces on display are available to purchase through a silent auction (unless already available online). Under each product photo on this Instagram account you will find the starting bid price. To place a bid, simply forward the image of the object and DM us with your name, email and bidding price. At the end of Milan Design Week, all bids will be shared with individual designers who will then get in touch with the bidders to organise payment and shipment via email. 100% of the proceedings from the silent auction will be retained by the designers and makers, no commissions taken. Buona fortuna!

Multifunctional Apron by Pei-Chi Lee 💸 STARTING BID £60 per apron Pei-Chi Lee is a Taiwan-born, UK-based interdisciplinary artist. Her work explores how culture and daily infrastructure shapes human behaviour. With a focus on the relationship between play and wellbeing, her work displays movement in different forms, using different media from textile, drawing, sculpture to installation, to suggest a new way of thinking, and look at our everyday experiences from multiple perspectives. Lee received an MA in Textiles from the Royal College of Art, London in 2019. Her work has since been exhibited nationally and internationally, and has worked on several projects, workshops and talks on the concept of playfulness and well-being’s strong relationship, in different contexts. “Aggiungi un posto a tavola (Add a seat to the table)” is a fun project that reimagines the traditional apron as a versatile and playful addition to your dining experience. These aprons are not only functional but also serve as a creative tablecloth when joined together. The design features shapes that can be rearranged to create various table configurations, providing flexibility for different dining setups. Each apron can be purchased individually, allowing for customisation of length and style. Additionally, the quarter-circle shapes can be detached and combined with others to form a complete circle tablecloth, enhancing the adaptability of the collection. With “Aggiungi un posto a tavola,” dining becomes a whimsical and interactive experience where every apron adds a seat to the table and invites creativity to the meal. 🪑 SIT, FEAST ON YOUR LIFE 15 - 21 April @dopo.space
