Poland’s first stitched hybrid stadium pitch in just 7 seconds ⚽
Watch the completion of the first stitched hybrid stadium pitch in Poland at Zagłębiowski Park Sportowy in Sosnowiec.
Our SIS GRASS Hybrid stitching technology strengthens the natural grass surface by stitching fibres into the pitch, providing the reinforcement and stability required for elite surface performance.
This latest milestone follows the successful completion of Poland’s first stitched hybrid pitch at the ŁKS Barycz Sułów training ground last year - a landmark project that introduced stitched hybrid technology to the Polish market.
With preparations continuing ahead of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, hybrid pitch technology continues to grow across Polish football infrastructure, with Stadium ŁKS ŁÓDŹ next in line for hybrid grass installation this month.

𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 - 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 🌧️☀️
Extreme weather is becoming the new normal. While around 120,000 football matches are cancelled each year in the UK due to heavy rainfall, many regions are simultaneously facing longer dry spells and stricter water restrictions. Keeping pitches playable in this unpredictable climate is an increasing challenge.
DrainTalent offers a dual-action solution that gives grounds teams more control: • 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘂𝘂𝗺 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 removes excess water significantly faster than traditional systems, keeping pitches playable despite the intense rainfall. The system acts to maintain optimal moisture levels, reducing waterlogging, offering better conditions for grass growth, and creating a healthier rootzone that supports better turf quality and more consistent playability. • 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 allows grounds teams to fill the pitch profile, raising the water level directly to the rootzone for more consistent watering across the entire surface. This promotes deeper rooting and eliminates the inconsistencies and wastage caused by uneven sprinkler distribution, evaporation, and wind. Through subsurface irrigation and water recycling, the system also delivers more sustainable water management.
With remote and automated options, the DrainTalent system can be controlled from anywhere and respond in real-time to weather conditions.
