Of ideas that grew into something real. But more than anything, these have been 10 years shared with you. Thank you for being part of this journey. For showing up. For staying with us. We had one clear mission: to do the product justice on screen. 🎥 So we went all in. A $30K cinema camera. A former pro skier behind the lens. And a crew of snowboarders who aren’t afraid of danger — let alone speed. Filming in the snow? Not exactly easy. Try hauling a 10 kg camera off-piste while chasing riders at full steam… But after a full day of shooting at -7ºC, falling, jumping, and rolling on the ground... the camera held up, we got the footage we wanted, and we walked away seriously proud of the product we get to show: one that’s absolutely flawless. ___ Teníamos una misión clara: hacerle justicia al producto en video.🎥 Para eso, reunimos a lo mejor de lo mejor: una cámara de cine de más de 30K, un ex esquiador profesional como operador y unos snowboarders sin miedo al peligro, ni mucho menos a la velocidad. Ahora, lo de filmar en la nieve… no es precisamente coser y cantar. Menos aún con una cámara que pesa 10 kg, por fuera pistas, intentando seguir a riders a toda velocidad. Pero hey, tras un día de rodaje, la cámara sobrevivió, obtuvimos las imágenes y, tras estar a -7, caernos, saltar, rodar por el suelo… la verdad es que no podríamos estar más orgullosos de enseñar un producto que no deja nada que desear.

“There’s nothing like the good old days,” they say. And maybe it’s true. Or maybe it’s just nostalgia— that feeling that paints the past in such a way we can’t help but long to return. You might be wondering: why’s a skier chasing @abelrinconv down the mountain with a movie camera? It might look unreal from afar, we know, but we had to find the best way to do the product justice. The W8 was made for freeriding and ease of movement. So we had no choice but to dive into the powder, weave through the trees, and tackle the slopes to get the shots it deserved. And boy, did it deliver. ___ Y diréis: ¿qué hace un esquiador persiguiendo a @abelrinconv por la montaña con una cámara de cine? Desde fuera la escena parece un tanto surrealista, lo sabemos. Pero había que encontrar la mejor forma de hacerle justicia al producto. El W8 nació para el freeride y el movimiento. Así que no quedaba otra que jugársela y meterse entre árboles, pendientes y nieve polvo para capturar las mejores tomas. Y vaya si le hacen justicia.
